DESCRIPTION: Advise and assist customers with the Lifecycle Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and develop a Systems Security Plan (SSP). The Certification Agent will oversee all of the technical assessment activities performed by the security control assessors and security staff assisting in the assessment activities. Certification Agent analyzes the weaknesses to make risk based decisions describing the potential impacts to confidentiality, integrity and availability. Certification Agent is a senior security advisor is accustom to presenting technical material to senior business managers in a non-technical manner to ensure a clear understanding of how the risk(s) impacts the mission and/or business functions.
